Hi Devona:
Well, we finally arrived back in Asheville. We ended up spending
last night at a hotel in Greensboro. Higgins did fine - we smuggled
him in. We ended up using the small kennel for him last night since
there was no way we could have taken the bigger one in.
Higgins is so wonderful!! So sweet and loving. He did very well in
the car, did not even get sick once. He even ate and drank a little
before he went to sleep for the night.
When I woke up this morning Harry had already let him out to do his
business and had him snuggled up beside him in the bed. We started
out around noon today and once in Asheville stopped over to see one
of my best friends who was just dying to see him. We are here with
her now and of course she and her husband are in love with him
already!! Since they have internet access I wanted to take the
opportunity to e-mail you.
I will e-mail you again on Tuesday. Thank you again for such a
wonderful puppy!!

Snickers is great! We never heard a
peep out of him until that evening. He was so easy the whole
ride down. He is getting so playful and has been eating,
drinking and pooping just fine. I've been getting up at night
when he whines to let him out for a quickie. I've been told
that this should be short-lived. He has his vet appt at 4
today. We are sure enthralled with him. He's only been left
alone once!
Thanks for this precious little
one. He seems so well-adjusted.

Hi Devona. I just wanted to thank you again for Mazie. She is
a wonderful little puppy! Russell and I are already in love
with her and Twister adores her! I let her and Twister "play"
yesterday and she chases him around and pulls on his long pants
hair! He is very sweet and tolarant about the whole thing. He
is real gentle with her. He does his play-bow and runs for her
to chase him.
For now, I am keeping there play session real short because she
is so small. Soon, they will be best friends. Mazie is SO
outgoing and social. I can now tell you socialized her very
well because she doesn't seem to be afraid of new situations!
She has been eating and drinking well and seems very happy. She
is, of course spoiled already!
I will send you pics of her and her new brother Twister soon and
keep you updated about her. I hope you and your mom found
Charlie!
