Devona,
As we begin another weekend with our Poppy,
we are so thrilled to have her in our family. She has fit in so well and
everyone just adores her. I am afraid she is a Mama's girl like the rest of
the group though. It is hard sitting on the couch and all 4 want to be as
close to me as they can. She loves the backyard. My neighbor behind me loves
to watch her play with her siblings. There is no way she is intimidated by
them...haha. Talk about quick as a whip, she out manuevers them!
If you ever need a reference, please feel
free to use my name. I love this dog and am tickled with her disposition and
out going personality. She is better than we had hoped for!!!

Devona,
Well, our little precious Poppy has been with
us a week and she is very well adjusted. You didn't didn't tell me she is
part St Bernard...haha. She thinks she is as big as everyone else and
doesn't put up with too much. We just absolutely love her! Talk about
personality, she has it and more. Lekita thinks it is her puppy and watches
every move she makes and wants to know where she is all the time. I let
Poppy out front with Tilly to romp and play and they wear each other out
playing. Chopper isn't too worried about any of it, he is just the couch
potato of the family.
Will take pictures this weekend. She was very
much worth the wait!!!!!

Hi Devona,
I had a very busy day today working from 10:00 am to 7:00pm at a garden
boutique in Biltmore Village. I took Bryson with me of course. I tried
to leave him in his crate but he would start screaming, especially if he
could not see me. So, I got an apron that has big pockets and put him
in one. Naturally all the customers went crazy over him. I gave your
website info to at least 6 different people - 2 of which I think are
seriously interested. Word spread and we had people from other shops
coming to see him. I had to place him under the counter on a blanket so
that he could get some sleep and no one could see him.
Let me know if anyone contacts you and mentions us.
I am off tomorrow and plan to be home all day. I will try and download
the pics and send you some.
Bryson is something else!! Very determined little guy.

Letter 3-20-2007 They are amazing. Tahoe is a magnet, people just love her. She gets along
well with other dogs, I just can't get over it. I forgot to tell you her
height and weight. She is 12 inches high and weighs just under 9 lbs. I
always tell everyone about your website- and check it myself on a regular
basis. You have beautiful puppies. Tahoe (celebrating her first birthday!) born 3-16-06 to Millie and Chase now lives in South Carolina.

Hi Devona,
Jewel Lee is doing awesome!! She is such a well-mannered calm dog. Loves
to be HELD! Always jumping up on my leg to carry her around like the
little Princess she is !
She sleeps in her own dog bed at night, and has only had an occassional
accident during the night here or there. But otherwise EXCELLENT! I
couldn't have made a better choice.
Oh and her and Maverick are in love! They lick each other's face daily
and place so cute outside. I have off from work tomorrow and Friday so I
definitely will take some pictures and email you!!
Freezing here too, Jewel Lee needs to grow in her fluffy coat like
Maverick

Gracie is doing great! What a sweet girl! She gets lots

Hi Devona!
I have planned on writing you and you beat me to it! You can use this as
reference.
Angel is going great! We finally settled in a routine. Angel cried during
the 1st half of her trip. She was frightened. She settled down on the 2nd
half and made it back to Oak Ridge just fine. She was tentative on Sunday
and yet behaved very well. We are extremely pleased.
She just loves to hang out with us. She is easy-going, sociable, friendly,
playful, and simply adorable.
Today is the first day she really felt at home. She has been playing with
Tiana, sometimes "herding" her while running around the yard. I think she
has adopted Tiana as her litter-mate, hanging with her, playing with her,
resting her head on her lap, and climbing into her lap most of the time.
The cutest thing is that she does the mini-cry when Tiana leaves. She has
made a friend for life!
I have attached some pictures of Angel and Tiana.

Angel is doing great. She is now 5 months old and weighs 10 lbs. She
is very friendly, playful, energetic and very loving. We are very happy
and lucck to have such a wonderful puppy! She is very agile and loves
to run in the woods behind our house jumping through logs, brushes and
leave piles. We saw that you have changed the website name and also saw
Angel's picture when she was a little puppy at top left corner. That is
a great picture. Anyway, hope everything's going well with you. We
have recommended you quite to a few friends and strangers who asked

Hi Devona,
Just figured I'd update you on Loki... He is now 3 months old as of
yesterday, and weighs about 8 lbs. He is very healthy and active, loving,
sweet, and incredibly intelligent. He has been housebroken, knows "sit",
"paw", "up" and hops up & down when the command "bunny bunny" is used, or if
someone jumps he will mimic the action. When he is about to be rewarded with
a treat he automatically sits down and waves both his paws in an alternating
motion. He's befriended all the animals here, but he knows he is king and
likes to run around and tries to "herd" the other dogs & cats! :)
He has many many toys, but his favorite is his little plush lion toy that he
carries around in his mouth. He is well pampered and sleeps in my bed every
night.
I have kept him on the Artemis diet, and plan on continuing it forever. His
coat is beautiful and is coming in long, thick, and super soft. He now has 2
tiny copper dots above both his eyes, giving him little tiny "eyebrows". His
eyes are still the beautiful clear blue that they were when I first got him,
though it is hard to see in pictures.
He's become an important part of our family here, and I love him so much. I
tell people he is my "son"!!! Thanks so much again, for helping me find the
best friend I've ever had. I will continue to update you.

Hello, I can't keep myself from checking your
website to look at new puppies. They are all so adorable! I hope you got the
pic of Trista. I was hoping you could tell me her birth weight, we never
knew. Only her weight at about 2 mo. It's not a big deal I am just curious.
She now weighs 12.5 lbs. She continues to do great. Roger just back from
France and being gone for a month was suprised at how she had grown. I
really can't see it since I am with her daily. I guess since I am used to
the standard size she is tiny. Anyway we love her to death. Take care,

Hi Devonna,
Here is an updated picture of Minnie at 6
months. She is doing great. What a great, loving smart puppy. We have
gotten all kinds of comments on her. usually it is: "What is that breed?"
or " She is an Australian Shepard, isn't she?" We even got someone taking
pictures of her in the car window.
She lets you know exactly what she wants and all
our family is happy to oblige. She travels great and has taken several
trips to VA. She is obsessed with a ball or frisbee and loves getting
muddy as we are trying to grow grass in our back yard right now.
What a great pic we made. We are so happy with
her.
We would love to come out one day and show her
to you since we are so close? Of course we would work out a time with you!!

Hi Miss Devona,
It's me....Foster. Just wanted to let you know
that I am doing GREAT!!! I am a very happy little guy.
I love to run on the beach and herd seagulls or
anything else in a flock for that matter, including people. I get alot of
outside time. I have also become a Daddy's boy. We guys have to stick
together as he was outnumbered before I got here.
My parents say I am spoiled rotten but I think I
deserve it because I am such a good "Little Man" (Little Man is my
nickname). I am really excited about the summer because my mom is planning
to get me into agility training. I need it to out manuever my sister.
Those IG's are very fast. My sis and I love to play and as you can see we
also like to keep up with current events. We love reading the Sunday
paper. Actually, we love preventing our parents from reading the paper.
Hope you like my pictures. Mom has a hard time
getting me to sit still enough to take them. I am a very busy guy.

Letter 12-19-2005 Hi Devona, Hope all is well. I heard on the news there was an ice storm in NC and many people were without power for a while. Did that affect you? We are so happy with the pup. His name is Simba. It took us 4 days to name him. He's still not eating a whole lot, but is getting there. I bought the Nutracal and have been giving him some in the mornings. He's been doing all his necessities outside so far. We take him out every couple of hours and he's getting the hang of it. My twin nieces were scared of him at first, but they got over it. This is the first dog they ever held (and kissed) :) Stay in touch! Liz

Letter 8-28-2006 Devona, I just wanted to give you an update on Kina. We moved to Cincinnati about 7 weeks ago and she is doing very well. We walk 6 miles together every day as well as play at a dog park where Kina gets along with everybody. She is even faster than most of the big dogs. She loves to play fetch and chase other dogs. She also goes to doggie day camp once a week where everybody loves her and tells me how well-behaved and beautiful she is. Kina is a gorgeous dog; she looks a lot like her daddy, Kenner, now. When we are on our walks people are always stopping to ask me about her (sometimes yelling from balconies!) She is the perfect dog for me and we have a great time together. Also, people always want to know where I got her, so I have started carrying pieces of paper with your website address on them. You might be building a huge fan base in Ohio. Thank you so much for the wonderful dog. Kina makes me so happy, and I do my best to make sure she is happy too. I will send you some new pictures of her when her beautiful winter coat grows in! Bogie is great. Has a personality that is just the sweetest.
He is getting so big. We joke about the fact that he is like
Clifford the big red dog because he just keeps growing. He is
now up to 12 lbs and he is not overweight! Bogie is
solid. Too be honest I don't mind it one bit because I wonder
if that helps his personality with the kids. I can tell you
that he has NEVER meet a stranger. Everyone is his friend.
I did get your (business) cards and I'm down to my last
few. It is amazing to see how many people don't know anything
about mini or toy aussie's. Aussie's themselves are the most
popular breed out here...I think because it is rather
agricultural close by....but no one knows that you can get them
in a smaller size.
I had a lady ask to take pictures of him over the weekend. She
was completely taken by him.
By the way if anyone needs references from you please know that I would be
thrilled to help.

15.5 lbs about 3 weeks ago. Isn't it amazing.
He isn't that tall though, just really solid.
I can't get him to stay still long enough to see how tall he is, but
from the little I could gather he is only about 14 or 15 " tall. I
guess he is more of a small mini than a toy. That gives me an
excuse to buy another one : )!

Hi Devona
Joy learned to go out the doggy door yesterday. She has been coming in the
doggy door for a while, she just has not been going out. She is so proud,
she goes out to see the big girls and then comes back to see what I am
doing. Wednesday while I was at work and she was in the bathroom, she
discovered the toilet paper, I cleaned up the mess and then I was off
yesterday and this morning when I went to work I forgot to take it off and
put it on the sink, she got into again and when I came home this afternoon
she was wound up in and the more she did her twirling the more she got
tangled in it. It was hilarious should have been something for America's
Funniest Videos. She is eating great now, I cut her to twice a day and she
started eating better, I guess she was a little more hungry. I have to take
one of the Shelties for a rabies shot, so I will take her and weigh her on
the vet scale. She looks like a shrunken down Aussie now, she doesn't look
like a puppy anymore. She has her adult teeth in the front, but the canines
are still puppy teeth. Have you had any issues with them not loosing their
puppy canines, I know when I worked at the vet for some reason the little
dogs often had their adult teeth come in and the puppy teeth were still
there, so the puppy teeth had to be pulled. She still prefers the dry food
with some canned food, but will eat some dry, but not enough to keep up with
her energy level. I am not opposed to feeding her the canned food too,
should I just give up trying to make her eat only the dry kibble or keep
trying to get to eat her entire meal dry. She only gets few teaspoons of
the canned food mixed with about a 1/4 or less of Small Breed Formula twice

Letter 9-7-2005 hi devona bubba is alive and well and living in east haven. at almost 6 months, he seems to be almost full grown. he is 13" at the sholder and weighs over 14 lbs. i think he has lost all of his baby teeth and his long hair is growing in and it realy shines. the vet says he is in perfect health. bubba isthriving on his artimus dog food and has yet to taste people food. when he is active he is realy active, and when he is quiet he loves to curl up on the couch pillows or on any available lap. bubba is a real joy! we'll keep in touch, tom
Bubba born 3-17-05 to Betsy and Chase now lives in Connecticut. Letter 12-30-2005 hi Devona, Here are our most recent pictures of Bubba, taken thanksgiving weekend. Bubba got fixed nov. 1st. At that time, he measured 15 1/2 " at the shoulder and 21 poundes. I think we have to stop calling him a toy aussie. Toy or mini, Bubba is a joy to have around! He has all the energy an aussie should have outdoors, and indoors he is happy to lie on the couch with his head on Sophie's or my lap. He's the perfect aussie. happy new year, Tom and Sophie

He is doing quite well, and even seems to have made friends with the cat (Bradley), who has started chasing him around the house!
